I am always expanding my collection of photography equipment. You can never have enough bags! My main shooter is the Sony α7R II (ILCE-7RM2). It may be a generation or two old now but man does it perform! I chose it for its high-resolution and reasonable cost.Currently only shooting with prime lenses for that beautiful bokeh hence my limited coverage of focal lengths but I make it work. Sometimes you find an great shot when trying to work with what you have. Shooting Prime lenses means I may need to crop more often and the massive 42.4 megapixels of the Sony α7R II (ILCE-7RM2) gives me that luxury in plenty. I have been using Sony cameras since my first interchangeable-lens camera I got for Christmas a few years back (2016). It was to use on my expedition to Morocco with World Challenge. This was the Sony α5000 (ILCE-5000) which today lives in storage for when my younger siblings want to accompany taking photos. I even keep a spare Sony α6000 (ILCE-6000) in the car just encase there is something photo worthy and I don't have my camera bag!

My favourite lens is the Sony 85mm 1.4/f G Master, it is just fantastic. The ƒ/1.4 aperture is magical! Even the physical dimensions and weight feel spot on; I tend to get to distracted by this lens and talk myself out of switching lens! I have however just switched my Ziess Batis 135mm 2.8/f (a great lens) for a Sony FE 135mm F1.8 G Master, so you might see more shots from that focal length as I am really excited to use it. All my photos are taken in RAW and processed through Lightroom Classic where I make some adjustments to the lighting, crop and even often add a filter.
